Dear members, dear regional representatives, dear Unimog friends,
the first events are already behind us and next month the June issue of the Unimog-Heft`l will be published. This weekend we will continue with the KLASSIKWELT BODENSEE trade fair and next week with the members’ meeting and the parts market. So there is a lot going on at the moment, not to mention that there are only four weeks left until the annual meeting in Aufenau.
MEMBER ADMINISTRATION
Membership status
As of 21 April, the highest membership number assigned is 12,226 and the number of members is 8,079. 211 new members have joined since the beginning of the year to date.
HEFT’L
As announced in Issue ‘l 118, from the June issue onwards the Issue ‘l will also be published simultaneously in English. Members in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and South Tyrol will continue to receive the German edition. Members in all other countries will receive the English edition. Those who wish to continue receiving the German edition must notify mitgliederverwaltung@unimog-club-gaggenau.de by the end of May at the latest. Automatic subscription to both language versions is not possible.
INFORMATION FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Digital Clubcard
The membership card is now also available in digital form. You can find out how to access this version in the link below. From 01.01.2025 the membership cards will only be available in digital form. At this year’s General Assembly you will have the opportunity for the first time to show your membership card in both versions (analogue or digital).

EVENTS ATTENDED
Messe Stuttgart 23-26 February 2023
In February, we started our trade fair appearances at Retro Classics in Stuttgart. This year, the focus was on the anniversary of the Unimog 406 series.
The trade fair concept was fundamentally revised with various activities: The ride in the Unimog (Driving Experience), the photo box and the painting table for our younger visitors. There were also lectures and the opportunity to sit in the vehicles. Some new members were recruited and many questions about the Unimog and the association were answered.

Essen Fair 12-16 April 2023
Shortly after Easter, the Techno Classica fair took place in Essen. The fact that a Unimog can not only be used for working in the forest and in agriculture was beautifully presented at the UCG stand. John von Dijck, together with Gerd Wetzel, presented the Unimog 421 with an erected roof tent and matching camping ambience. This was definitely an eye-catcher.
As in Stuttgart, tours with the Clubunimog were also offered in the outdoor area of the trade fair. Our thanks go to John van Dijk and his team.

Annual Meeting Aufenau 08 – 11 June 2023
This year’s annual meeting will take place in Aufenau near Frankfurt am Main. You will find detailed information and the registration form in the March issue`l. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can only be booked in advance. Short-notice bookings on site and cancellations are not possible for organisational reasons. A snack trolley is available on the grounds for quick snacks.
Regional Officers’ Meeting 12 May 2023
In May, our Regional Officers meet for their twice-yearly conference. In addition to the opportunity to exchange ideas with each other, the Regional Officers will receive the latest information from the Board and the Heads of Department. We look forward to the day together.
