General meeting

Following the parts market, the members’ meeting took place in the Unimog Museum. Around 150 people were present. The agenda included presentations from the individual departments as well as elections.

The following were re-elected for a further two-year term of office:

  • Rainer Hildebrandt (Chairman)
  • Angelika Grieb-Erhardt (2nd deputy chairman)
  • Claudio Lazzarini (Treasurer)

All accepted the election. Members were able to stock up on goods from our club shop at the club shop sales stand with a special sale.

EVENTS ATTENDED

Trade fair Stuttgart

We were also present at the Retro Classics in Stuttgart with a stand and some exhibits in co-operation with the Unimog Museum. Our photo shows Werner Vögele, who was responsible for organising the stand, with the two members who made their vehicle available as an exhibit. Another new feature was the “car cinema”. Here, visitors could watch a film in various vehicles. In the Unimog, this was possible from the loading area.

Whitsun trip Weserbergland

A delegation from the Executive Board travelled to the Weserbergland with the Club Unimog and a Club Shop sale.

ADAC Hockenheim Historic

The UCG was represented at the ADAC Hockenheim Historic in Hockenheim for the first time. Together with several brand clubs, we set up an information stand on the pit lane. The cutaway model of the museum stood out somewhat as an object of interest among the many racing cars, but was very well received by the visitors. The weekend resulted in a lot of interest in the technology, good discussions and some new members.
